I had the privilege of taking a weekly French conversation class with Pauline for two years. It was a mixed level class and Pauline was able to easily tailor lessons and activities to each individual’s ability. Her experience with teaching, combined with her warm personality, was the perfect combination to encourage shy speakers like myself to practice our new skills. I was truly amazed how much my French speaking and listening comprehension skills improved even though we only met one day a week. I highly recommend Pauline if you are looking to improve your own French abilities.

Having been an educator most of my career, teaching the young as well as college-level students, I so enjoyed and benefited from the adult/parent French classes taught by Pauline Mouhanna at Lycee Rochambeau, The French International School. As a non-fluent French speaking parent of a child in a full immersion French school, it was daunting to participate with the school fully at first. However, with Pauline as our instructor, she made our experience in the classroom welcoming, interactive and educational. She has a wonderful talent at making everyone feel comfortable. Her understanding of the French language both spoken and written was matched by her patience and flexibility in adapting the classes to meet our needs as parent-students.

Pauline led non-Francophone parents’ conversation class at Rochambeau as a volunteer teacher. She is not only an experienced French educator, but also empathetic community organizer.

Pauline’s adult French class at the Rochambeau was both effective and fun. The group was very multicultural and diverse in terms of French skills and Pauline brought us all together in a great learning environment.
